In fact, you can walk from one to the other along a safe and relaxing path. Signs of human occupation from pre-history have been found in Forua and it also has some of the very few known Roman remains in the Eastern Cantabrian region. The San Mart\u00edn de Tours parish also conceals vestiges of the beginnings of the last millennium. It is one of the oldest in Biscay and has been the leading player in a complete excavation campaign developed by the Department of Culture of the Government Office of Biscay.
