Streets with irregular crossover slopes form one of the oldest and largest historic centres in the Basque Country.<\/p>\n<p>The poorer fishermen\u2019s houses contrasted with the firm walls of the tower houses that housed the nobility. A reliable example of this is Ercilla Tower. Along with the palaces and towers of the nobility, the religious architecture was the most important in Bermeo.<\/p>\n<p>The pretty old port of Bermeo, full of colour and terraces, is the ideal place to enjoy a quiet time.
